Welcome to the wild, wild west in the middle-of-nowhere Wyoming! I get asked so often what are my favorite types of weddings, and truth is, I do have a favorite! When my couples choose a private location, such as their family ranch, then you know it will be a unique, never before seen, venue! It's always very sentimental and full of personal connection. Samantha and Jared are two of the kindest, sweetest people I have ever met. Samantha is just a true southern bell! Jared is in the military, and although he may put a tough facade, he is as kind as they come! Jared's family moved to Wyoming a few years ago and purchased a cattle farm! This was the backdrop to the wedding day! With rolling hills out into the distance, their cows roaming in the fields, a modern wedding dress, personal touches, and a sunset that can't be beat, that is how it's done in Wyoming!

I knew this wedding was incredibly unique, one of a kind, that you don't typically see. BRIDES - Conde Nast instantly featured this wedding on their wedding platform! It was such an honor to see this wedding recognized by such an inspirational, and trendy wedding company. But THEN it got even better! Every year, BRIDES chooses 50 of their favorite real wedding photos from that year. Guys, BRIDES gets thousands of submissions each year for featured weddings. It wasn't even on my radar that something like this could happen! But Dec. 30th rolled around and my Instagram started going crazy! I couldn't figure out what was happening until the amazing planner of this wedding, Brynn of First Look Events, told me one of Samantha and Jared's wedding images was chosen in the top 50 for 2017! You want to know who else was on that list, Serena William's wedding, AND all my favorite photographers! I freaked out to say the least! It was such an honor, and amazing way to finish out 2017.
