Summer Wildflower Family Session Boulder, Colorado

By Ashleigh Cropper

I get asked often if it is REALLY worth it to get up early in the morning for a session in Colorado! I hope these images answer that question because I would definitely say yes! The morning light is quite harsh in the Boulder area, so I start them early but it such a lovely, quiet time to do a session.

Those who opt for the morning continually come back saying it was their favorite session! I think maybe it is just how peaceful it can be without hardly anyone around, the sun is just rising, you did the session first thing!

I have photographed this sweet couple, Claire and Manny's wedding a few years back, then they welcomed a little one and now Esme has been joining the photo fun! We endured a "covid wedding" that was changed multiple times. I feel like these guys are family because we have been through so much!

Also, I should add that summertime in certain locations provide the most gorgeous wildflowers in fields! I happen to know some of the best spots in Boulder County for those as well!
