I have known these hills and forests for 28 years. I know the little paths, walkways, creeks, forested areas that most others rarely know about. In high school we would drive around in the mountains getting lost and finding the most gorgeous places. I love that lush, green, dewy Oregon with all my heart.
Last spring, like so many other times, I woke up around 2 am with an idea. My friend who is an amazing florist just started catering to weddings, why don't we collaborate and do a fun, but smaller styled intimate wedding in the hills that I have adored?! With a small team of locals who pulled together an incredible job, we nestled a table into the forest and created a moment in time that I will never forget. I felt like my two loves collided: Photography + Oregon. I was truly in heaven! We pulled inspiration from everything local. From the florals, to the blackberries, and letting the setting be the backdrop, it was everything I had hoped for and more. There is something about Oregon that brings my creative and soft photography side out. So much of who I am as a photographer is because of these forests.
I am so grateful for an incredible team of local, Southern Oregon vendors that brought together a stunning vision! See the list of full vendors at the end of this post.
