Southern Oregon Teepee Wedding

It is always a pleasure to head back to my home state of Oregon and capture a wedding! Rheana and Kyle planned a gorgeous day out in the hills of Eugene, Oregon at a teepee resort. Yes, you heard me right! A teepee resort! Teepee's scattered the area where friends and family stayed to enjoy the marriage of these two. With the thick dense forest, little trails leading to these teepees tucked away, to the gorgeous sun that shown through the enormous trees, it was a stunning day!

One of my favorite moments was when Rheana, Kyle and I went about a mile or two down the road to an original covered bridge. In Oregon there are a few original covered bridges from the 1800s and one just happened to be down the road! They are an icon to Oregon and a nod to the settlers who established this great state. My husband and I started a tradition in high school to find all the covered wagons...and this one we had not found yet! It was a special, and more quiet, moment on their day that I adored.
