Just let them be teenagers! That is my motto with family sessions that have teenagers. I love all phases of families whether it is newborn through adults, but there is something awesome about a family with teenagers. I love to just let the teenagers be goofy and get some laughs out. I chose to share images from this session that area mix of my approach, and then letting teenagers be their silly selves in front of my camera. Did I ask that boy to lay down in front of his family, nope, but as soon as he asked to do it I let him. Because that moment is so funny, we got good laughs, and it will be a quick moment into their lives at this time. I think this is also such a tender time for the parents as their kids are about to apply for colleges, and the future is so close of them leaving home. Plus, you have to capture those parents letting loose too! Nothing like running through a field with that golden sun to have a carefree moment together! I adored these guys, their quirky moments, and that time out in the fields of Southern Oregon!
