Sonnenalp Wedding Day!

If you want to see the most perfect Vail, Colorado summer wedding then look no further! You might remember Mackenzie and Justin from back here when I did their engagements, and I was SO excited for their Sonnenalp Hotel wedding day! Sonnenalp provides such a gorgeous, tucked away location for a wedding in Vail Village. Many don't even know it's there!

I always ask my couples what is most important to them on their wedding day, and I really keep that in the back of my mind. For these two it was all about making sure their family and friends had the best, most relaxing time in the mountains. I wanted to make sure I captured so many personal moments to them. They also had numerous details throughout the day that incorporated important parts about their lives coming together. Mackenzie's mother purchased Mackenzie the most unique wedding goblets from Czech Republic that she said one day her daughter would use at their wedding, and they did! Each guest also got a personal glass from the Czech Republic as well. Mackenzie's bright and fun personality showed in her gorgeous choice of reds, pinks, and yellow for florals. They made sure their pup, who is named Rowdy (and lives up to his name!) was present even though he didn't attend the wedding. A first look on top of their favorite mountain with breathtaking Rocky Mountain views! There were the cutest napkins of his smiley face at the bar! They had a tarot card reader which was pretty rad! The guests especially loved this! A huge lounge area for guests to relax as the sun set with the most fun neon sign! I have to say, I think neon signs are a trend that I am really loving this season! The list goes on and on about all the details with their wedding day!

I want to add though that I have adored getting to know Mackenzie and Justin. Their day is stunning and you will see that all below. But what I really appreciate about these two are how much they care for each other and are not afraid to show it (the groom may have shed a tear or two.) Mackenzie has the best smile and laugh!
