There are few things I love more than Forest Park in Portland, Oregon and capturing couples in love amongst those dense trees and lush ferns!
I used to live right across from this park for four years and had the opportunity to get to know it well! The very last photo at the end of this post is my absolute favorite bridge, St. Johns in (you guessed it!) St. Johns, Portland area. Forest Park is claimed to be the largest urban forest reserve in the United States! Some say that is up for debate but with over 80 miles of trails, it is certainly one of the biggest!
Tessa and Hunter met me on one of the trails I used to run and hike, and we explored around for an hour. I love that there is always variety and something unique at every turn in that setting! Little bridges connect the path where streams flow down the hillside.
Tessa and Hunter were so sweet and dear throughout the session. Incredibly relaxed and easy going, which makes more the photos to feel effortless! These two met in Portland (although both are from Hawaii) and have decided to call the Pacific Northwest home!
