They are some of the most thoughtful people I have ever met. This theme reoccurred throughout their wedding day. So many family and friends stated the same thing because these two are truly incredible. They both were living in Phoenix, but wanted to get married in Denver. They had met in Denver years ago just by chance when Allison was in town for a few nights on a work trip, and Alex was living in the city for a short time.
They met right around the corner from Moss Denver at a bar, so obviously they needed to get married near where they initially met! I have to share that Allison sent me a baby onesie for my little one before he was born after I told her I was due about 3 weeks after their wedding date!
I was soooo so nervous to tell them that I would be rocking a huge belly, and not sure if I would even be their lead photographer for the day (luckily I was and didn't go into labor early!) Then right before my due date the sweetest little box showed up with all these little goodies for when I was at the hospital delivering the baby. Seriously! How thoughtful is that?!
Their wedding was full of gorgeous creams and whites. A moss wall full of live flowers and greenery. Their parents that could not express their love enough for these two! Candlelit dinner in the coolest brick room with chandeliers hanging. A first dance where Allison took off her heals and danced on top of her dads feet (all the tears flowed then!) A dance party like I have never seen before! Literally every single person was out there to celebrate these two!
Then the day after we had a session in the mountains to cap off this big weekend celebration! Stay tuned for my next blog post to share in the gorgeous fall evening in the foothills of Boulder!
