I was lucky enough to work with Maggie Evans for a styled shoot in the Fall, which really translates into… Maggie made all my wildest wedding dresses and veil dreams come true. First off, Maggie is such a wonderful person with a creative mind that is so inspiring. When you walk into her bridal studio, your eyes are immediately drawn to these custom gowns below. With a simple message of, “love is why you are here,” you feel like you entered into a world of beauty.
The use of fabrics is what stuck out the most with Maggie Evans Designs. Just look at all those different, unique textures. She is not afraid to use colors and match them with a fabric that combines into a gown you will not find anywhere else but here. Everyone wants to have that “special feeling” on their wedding day and that they found “the dress” and let me say, Maggie’s gowns do just that. They are timeless, created and sewn with detail and immense care.

It is hard to not be inspired when you are with Maggie at her studio. Old fabric scissors, quotes, threads, original design patterns all adorn her walls. It has a museum-like feeling that shows the history of Maggie and the love she puts into her creations.
Maggie is located in Boulder, Colorado and also offers art therapy classes. Not only is Maggie incredibly talented but for our styled wedding shoot, she went above and beyond any call of duty. She “whipped up” a custom veil, offered her gowns last minute when I was clearly procrastinating, and even came along and helped every step of the way with the actual photography session. Thank you, Maggie for all that you have done for me, and for the Boulder community. I think we are pretty lucky to have you in the neighborhood!
