Lithia Park in Ashland, Oregon has all the fall colors come October in Southern Oregon! It is just incredible with so many pops of color! Yellows, reds, oranges, deep purples and rich greens! If I get a request for wanting those fall colors, then this is where we go!
Lithia Park was actually created and designed by the same person who did the Golden Gate Park in San Francisco, John McLaren. He designed 18 of the 93 acres that are set apart by the city to enjoy. You can read more about the interesting history here. Ashland is full of history and such a dynamic place and midpoint between San Francisco and Portland! I also happened to be a Chamber of Commerce representative when I was in high school and gave tours of Lithia Park! If you are lucky I will share some bits about the area during your session that only locals may know about!
I took the Rasmussen Family here when they requested fall colors! And if you are still asking if I can handle a larger family session, I think the images are proof below! I love photographing families of all sizes! It is so fun to watch these siblings interact together and have some cute moments together.
I adore Lithia Park and it is such an easy location to access all those colors and enjoy a fall session together!
