Lifestyle Fall Family Session in Boulder, Colorado

I often am asked what a "typical" family session is like and the best way for me to explain it is through my examples of work. I have photographed this family for the last two years and I think it is a really perfect example of how a session may go with me when you have little ones!

There will be games, playing, lots of walking and movement, some tickling, parents throwing kids into the air. These are the moments we have throughout our days with our kids...it's not stiff and strict. I let kids wander and explore. I capture in-between moments that are usually my clients favorites! A half second look, a kiss over the kids' heads.

I know that parenthood is not all smiles. Trust me, my toddler and I go through all the emotions most days. BUT, I love seeing the joy at my sessions. I always prepared for the possible meltdown and little tricks to distract too. I adore photographing families!
