Newborn Session

Be still my heart! This boy, George Wise, was an honor to watch through my camera. I love the opportunity to capture newborns, but what I love with that is the ability to sit there and let them be themselves. I am not one to position the baby for every image, or have many props. They are the prop, really! Newborns are just precious and I want to show this moment when they are so new to the world. George is surrounded by an infinite amount of love. You can feel it from his parents and his 4 other siblings that were anxiously awaiting his arrival. His brothers and sister cannot help but to call him “Georgie” and give him kisses all over. My heart just melted being with this boy in his home for a wonderful afternoon session.

I love that during this session his siblings came in and gave him kisses (without any of my prompting to do so!) And then they would disappear for a while. After the session I found them rummaging through the playroom goods and then heading out for an impromptu picnic. I can tell George has many fun adventures to look forward to!
