Chautauqua Park, Boulder, Colorado Family Session

I adore family sessions! I know I do not show much of this work, but I do a great deal of family sessions throughout the year. As I have grown, I've come to understand the importance and value of my family. When tragic, sad, and, hard moments happen I have had so many families be able to share who they were through my images. I truly feel that it would be worth going without some of our more luxury items for a month or two, to be able to put that money toward a family session. These are fleeting moments we can't get back, and can only relive through images.

I loved this session! These sweet daughters, one full of energy (I will let you guess with one), made for an exciting time in the foothills of Boulder. This whole family is so cute! With my family sessions, I try to let kids just be kids! I want the parents to love them up, give them kisses, play around, even if it was stressful getting to my session. I set the mood to be light and happy, and more of an "exploration" into the meadows and trails (which kids love!) Then I can get these moments where they will remember the cute face their daughter makes when they kiss on those chubby cheeks, or those first moments of taking steps.

What I'm trying to say here is, pay a professional (a real professional!) Set up a sessions, and get in those photos! You will be grateful for many years you did!
