Boulder, Colorado Summer Engagement Session

A summer's day at Chautauqua Park always feels like a wonderful time for an engagement session! Paige and Chris love the outdoors and mountains so this location in Boulder felt like a great fit for these two!

I wanted to reflect their easy-going personality with their session. I have found over the years of photographing others that it's really important to get to know the personalities of those I'm capturing to make sure who they are are reflected in the images. They laid in the grass, look in the beautiful foothill views and strolled around the trails.

Paige wanted to add a little extra "something" to the session, so she reached out to a local florist to add a dried floral arrangement to her hat! It was so fun and made the images unique, plus added a pop to her attire.

We then went to a second location that is a personal favorite and one I scouted out years ago (so yes, it is a secret location of mine!) The wildflowers were out and made for a lovely pop of color!
