2020 wedding season was definitely nothing of what I had thought it would be! Cancellations, postponements, elopements, and microweddings were there theme of the year. This sweet couple had so many bumps in the road with their wedding plans. Last minute they decided to pull off a microwedding with just their immediate family members. Cassidy and Teran both have larger families so it wasn't easy and many did not attend, but those who did were closest to them and in their Covid bubble.
At a family's private estate in Boulder, these two had an intimate ceremony and luncheon out on the lawn area. I loved seeing how couples adapted and found ways to still celebrate even during this challenging time. The private estate was stunning with the Flatiron Mountains in the background, a lake in the center of the property, gorgeous big cottonwoods (one of which they got married under), and an old growth forest. A Florae of Longmont provided the most summery and sweet florals for Cassidy. Look at her beautiful bouquet! I think what stood out the most was how these two really wanted to just enjoy their time together, roaming the property, taking photos in unique areas, and capturing their love so others could see it once I delivered the gallery.
I am so grateful I was invited to capture Cassidy and Teran's wedding day!
